Hi, I’m Katya! I am an experienced videographer, editor, and producer. I graduated from Montclair State University in 2018 with a BA in Television and Digital Media and a minor in English. During college, I interned at CNBC, PureWow, AwesomenessTV, and Backes & Strauss. In December 2018, I started as a video-editing intern at Business Insider and through the years, got promoted to Senior Videographer and Editor. During my time there, I covered a range of topics from beauty and lifestyle to business and food. Now, I’m focusing on freelance editing, videography, and photography.

In my free time, you’ll likely find me sitting in a theater, whether it’s a live show or a movie. I also love baking, traveling, being in nature, and eating really good food. In the past year I’ve gotten really into making sourdough loaves and I think I’m quite good at it!
